2nd photoshoot(:

So, here are some photos that were inspired by spring! Though today was far from that. It snowed four times, rained three times and was also sunny for a bit. We had to try and shoot three times. Thanks to my model, they turned out great.

Spring fashions, Part 3 (necklaces 1/2)

So, today I chose to just focus on one necklace, a personal favorite. Some jewelry is even more special when hand made. My stepdad is an artist and his friend (also an artist) hand made the paper, and bound this mini-book for me. It was a present for the holidays this year. It is beautiful. I wrote somethings that I thought were important (or the general meaning or interpretation of what I wrote I think are important). Here goes!

Spring fashions (Part 2)

So first here is how I store my earings and bracelets, I use a small jewelry box that sings swan lake (yes!) and has a little ballerina that twirls. Next there are some new pearls ($6.75) not real, but still pretty. Go with almost any outfit. Hope you like. How do you store your jewelry?

Spring styles part 1 ( Earings)

In the above, these are some spring-y earings. I am starting a whole new section with new spring fashions, first earings, next bracelets+ storing your jewelry, next necklaces, after dresses, both dressy and casual, and after that warmer looks that are more casual. Hope you enjoy, spread the word hopefully I will get more followers and might do some special give-away art and fashion projects. Have fun, spread the work and take a look!

What inspires you?

Gwen Stefani, Marilyn Monroe, Frida Kahlo, Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper. These are some of my inspirations. They make me happy, give me ideas, they were prodigious, and they inspired so many people. It doesn't have to be a person, it can be anything. Later, i'll post some more images of things that I find inspiring.

Marilyn Monroe Makeup Regime (it's finally here)

Sooo, first of all moisterize, her skin always looked flawless
Second, I used concealer, you might not need it, but I decided to  use it. (up to you!)

Step three, eye shadow, doesn't have to be but I used a creamy kind of white color, anything works as long as it's not to heavy or dark

Step four, I used a light brown eyeliner (can be done with darker eyeshadow and makeup brush) and lightly shaded the crease in my eyelid to give the appearence of a bigger eye

Step five, everybody thought that generally marilyn sported a black eyeliner, yet in truth it was always a dark brown, I used a liquid liner called "espresso".

Step six, you coat the really heavy dark brown liner with a thin white line to somewhat blur the darker liner and make it look less intense

Step seven, the last step of the eye. I used a red lip liner, and created a VERY small red dot on the inside end of your eye. This creates the illusion that the eye is longer, and the technique was use by her makeup artist daily.

Step eight, next I used a bit of blush and applied it from the top of my cheekbone, and almost following it all the way across the cheekbone, to define the shape of your face.

Step nine, I used a lip liner and lined the rims of my lips to prevent the lip products from err bleeding.(:

Step ten, I used a mixture of lipstain (reddish pink) and bright red lipstick. She could never do a pure red because on camera it appeared orange-ish and recked the shot.

And last but not least, strike a poseee!!!!!

Lastly, here are my before and after shots
